Displayator 2.0 - Universal Edition
Hi fellow Displayator users. I am delighted to let you know that the latest version of Displayator is now available on the app store!
The biggest new feature is that now the app is now optimized for iPhones and iPads. So if you have an iPhone or iPod Touch and an iPad, the same app works on all devices. As it is a rather big feature, I bumped the version number to 2.0 rather that 1.1. Some other minor improvements are also included:
- The last viewed Displayables are now listed bellow the ‘help’, ‘download’ and ‘my Displayables’ items for easier access.
- The app now shows the last 5 viewed displayables on the iPhone and the last 10 on the iPad.
- When viewing a Displayable, a details screen is available by tapping on the little ‘i’ top right of the nav bar. Tap on it to dismiss it.
- The displayables are now sorted by name in the ‘My Displayables’ list (as opposed to not sorted at all in the previous version. oups).
- When viewing a Displayable, tapping on the screen once will show or hide the navigation options (tapping on the little white ‘>’ button on the bottom right still works).
But, mostly, the app is now “Universal”, so you can view huge pictures on any iPhone, any iPod Touch, and any iPad using the same app.
